Welcome to Kathrinelyst

Kathrinelyst is an old family farm that is built in the middle of the 19^th century on a small hill in outer Middelfart. From here, there is a wide view to Gamborg fiord and Little Belt.

At our family farm, you find excellent accommodation options and it is obvious to live here in case of a party in at one of the nearby restaurants, if you want to hike through the Little Belt trail, play a round of golf, sail kayak or visit friends and family who cannot space a sleepover. Our surroundings are also perfect for a vacation and our rooms and apartment can in total space 14 persons.

From Kathrinelyst, there is 300 meters to our own beach where you will explore opportunities to take a swim or enjoy the beautiful nature.

Kathrinelyst is run by Henriette and Brian and have since 1976 been used by tourists. Back in the days, Kathrinelyst was run by Henriette’s parents.

We have a kind dog named Charlie who is a cockapoo. We also have a cat named Mille and she lives in the stable but likes cuddling if you enjoy the weather at the terrace.

Henriette has an education as a physiotherapeutic masseur and therefore it is also an opportunity to get a massage.    

Every year in November, Kathrinelyst hosts “Christmas in the stable.”
